As summer fades, we look forward to fall

This summer focused on gardening and staying home working on projects.  Due to the pandemic it was advised to remain home.  This meant that the farm had a lot of attention. The blueberry harvest was bountiful and the birds equally enjoyed the berries.  At one point, we counted 17 birds leaving the berry patch as we approached with our bowls in hand.  We believe in sharing the ecosystem, this year even the purple martins were diving toward us when we went to the berry patch.  At that time they were getting ready to have the young leave the nest.  The summer days and nights have been very enjoyable.
